Apologies for my absence recently, training has started again and our days are getting more and more full!

The good news is that my short turns are finally resembling something that could be consistency, I’m no longer afraid of bumps (just a bit slow!), and I’m slowly getting faster, *ahem* slowly getting less worried about going fast, in my long turns.

I’ve also spent a great week shadowing Basecamp as part of our BASS training.. this week the trainees are taking their BASI level 1 exams so will be sending lots of good luck thoughts their way!

Basecamp practising their teaching for L1 BASI course this week.

And in other news…

I’ve just returned from a weekend in the UK staying with two of my most amazing friends from uni, Esme and Elliot. I’ve known them now for nearly seven years and was lucky enough to be a part of a VERY special a treasure hunt on Saturday; not only was it Elliot’s birthday, but the hunt led Esme to an Elliot-shaped treasure complete with diamond ring!

Many congratulations to you both on your engagement.. I can’t think of two people more perfect for each other x x x

The perfect couple

Spot the Difference..

So we’ve now been in Tignes just under two months and who would believe it but we’ve found four (or three depending on how you look at it) sets of ski suit twins! Impossible you say? Well, I guess you’ve got to see it to believe it…
