Adaptive Snowsports

Adaptive is the term used to describe teaching individuals who need specialist adapted equipment or techniques when learning to ski.

Their additional needs may be a result of illness, injury or a congenital disorder.

Each country has their own system for adaptive skiing, but every one has the same goal; to increase the independence, achievement and sense of freedom of those with disabilities by sharing their love of snowsports, and making the mountains accessible to all.
